How do couples boudoir photoshoots work?

You ever wondered about couples boudoir, but are too nervous to explore it?

I get questions alllll the time, so I am going to answer the most common ones here!

“Can we both get completely naked?” - Absolutely, you can both wear as much or as little as you want. I don’t have any hangups with the human body, and have seen all shapes and sizes of people. I love documenting your beauty as it is! There isn’t any shaming with Twomermaids photography.

“What is the limit for contact?” - The States tend to have very obvious and strict laws on this. it goes from a boudoir session to a pron (spelled wrong intentionally for the google monster to not get angry haha) session real quick. So we walk a very fine line. There can be no insertion into any persons body during the session, and there can be no bodily fluid exchange. Everything up to that line is 100% good to go!

“What if my husband/boyfriend/FWB gets ‘excited’” - Don’t even stress, I like to address this at the beginning of any couples session so as to jump ahead of any awkwardness that may ‘come up’ 😂 We are all adults (literally, you have to be to do this session lol) We all know how human anatomy works. Getting excited isn’t always something that can be controlled. So don’t try to. The point of the session is to show off your physical connection with each other, and that is apart of connection. Plus it always makes the guys feel better to look bigger, and being excited definitely helps that 😂. So just don’t stress, you will see that during the photoshoot, not much phases me. Its just business as usual!

“Can I have pictures by myself during our session?” Absolutely! the time and photos are yours! You get a specified about of images in the packages, and whatever you get in those images is totally up to you, if you want to do mostly couples with some solos, do it. You are the boss here!

“Why is it so much more expensive than a regular couples session?” - There is more work that goes into these sessions. Not only for posing, and location, and law following. But also with editing. I do not photoshop people, but for boudoir sessions I do smooth, and remove small unwanted things like hairs, pimples, razor burn, etc. Plus, these are luxury sessions, and you get what you pay for when it comes to luxury!

“Can we go all the way during our session?” - Nope. The law wont allow it without a permit for pron (again misspelled intentionally) You can go up to insertion to any body part, Any touching or action up to that point is absolutely allowed! So grab onto whatever you want! It will make for better pictures! haha.

“Can I have photos of certain body parts up close uncovered?” - Yup, whatever you are comfortable with, and want me photographing I absolutely can. Remember this is your session. I don’t have a judgmental bone in my body. I have done erotic sessions, BDSM sessions, Group sessions, feet sessions, there is no kink shaming at Twomermaids, as long as it is consenting adults there is absolutely no shame. So ask away! Tell me what you have in mind specifically and we will get you those in your gallery!

“Will these be posted anywhere?” - These are private sessions, and we at Twomermaids absolutely respect the sensitive nature of these images, after all you don’t want to be at work and have your boss show up with you naked on their phone screen right? 😂. So if you request the model release be revoked you absolutely can. Twomermaids still owns the copyright to the images, but they will not be shown to anyone, ever. I cry inside a little when I cant show off my gorgeous clients, after all I adore showing others what they can achieve with their own session, but you cant post 90% of the photos from these sessions on social media anyways, and the ones you can post, if I want to post them I request specific images, the client can ok or veto any and all the images I request to be able to post places. That is 100% your choice!
