Why you should plan a "day after" session | Las Vegas and sedona wedding photographer

Top Rated Las Vegas and Sedona Wedding Photographer captures bride and groom in desert

What is a “Day after” session? I tell my Las Vegas, Sedona, and Apache Junction wedding couples about doing this. I usually get asked this question, which is understandable. Wedding days have changed in the last year or two. People seem to be more focused on having fun, getting great pictures, and not being stressed. It’s a huge change from those ultra stressful, only doing it for the family, weddings we all grew up with.

A day after session is a session where we go out, after the wedding (it doesn’t actually have to be the next day, it can even be years after!) You get in your wedding dress, or tux, or whatever you wore on your wedding day, and we go to an epic location and take some gorgeous images.

Now don’t get me wrong, all of my clients that have booked this type of session had stunning weddings, but you can’t travel to multiple locations on your wedding day most of the time, or to a special spot where you two met. So, you still get gorgeous venue pictures, but thennnnnnnn… you can get something different, something so epic to show off for the rest of our life. “Look! We went out on the river and jumped in in our wedding clothes! Check it out!” “Oh remember when we went into the middle of the desert and got perfect pictures for our wedding?”

There are just so many options, so much less stress, and less of a time crunch when planning one of these types of sessions. Plus, who doesn’t want more wedding pictures?? Am I right? We could all have something to look back on when we are 80 and wrinkled and still madly in love, to see how much fun we had when we were younger.

It’s a fun adventure session for those that want to add a little diversity in location to their wedding gallery, and I highly recommend it! Lets get you booked up!
